“Invisible House Guests”
Hello dear ones,
Pebbles, the chihuahua, and I have been having a slow go of it today. The weather changing so much and the pull and tug of spirits has put us both into a “sleep mode”. After getting so much needed extra rest I discovered that I have some new visitors making themselves known.
However, I did have to put a the pranks to a stop. I was preparing the evening meal when I realized I could not find the garlic salt. This is nothing unusual. I would like to be organized but it’s more of that what may look like chaos to someone else is my own little “organization.”
I use garlic salt like others use salt and pepper. It’s always out. But tonight I could not find it. I backed up, put my hands on my hips, and cried out, “Okay! Who took it?”
I heard the familiar laughter that brought a smile to my face. BUT I NEEDED MY GARLIC SALT!
I found it a few moments later. It was nestled on top of a small bag of coffee filters (that I keep right next to the coffee maker), hidden by a skein in white yarn I had been using to tie flower stems together in order for them to dry. I remembered moving the yarn, but how in the world did the little shaker bottle of garlic salt get put in the middle!
(And you thought I only dealt with humans who have passed from this physical world?)
One thing about the others, you got to believe.
